January 10, 2016 Get Back In The Game!
Have you ever been stuck on the sidelines, missing out on important things in your life because of pain? Have you felt as though you had to sacrifice relief from pain just so you could be present, or participate in the activities you loved? Have you thought about going to “pain management” before, only to be worried about the stigma or reputation, or getting stuck in a treatment plan that didn’t work for you? The good news is...we can help!
At the University Center for Pain Management of Knoxville (UCPMK), we will work with you to find out the cause of your pain and design a personalized treatment plan to help you meet your functional goals. Our comprehensive approach to pain management uses a combination of treatments and techniques to help you reclaim relief from daily chronic pain, and regain your function. Your personalized plan will likely involve a combination of treatments, involving medications, injections, physical therapy, and referrals to other providers if needed. These treatments are designed to work together with each other to get better results than using one method alone!
If you would like to become a patient at UCPMK, please ask your healthcare provider to send us a referral form (here). We will contact you once we receive your information and get you scheduled to see one of our board certified pain specialists as soon as possible.
Here’s to your best health!
